| Exterior of Yacht | - Assist 1st Mate with exterior of yacht
- Handle stern lines of yacht as setup by Captain and Mate
- VHF Communication, i.e. distance to dock, other yachts, tenders, etc.
| | Interior of Yacht | - Responsible for interior of yacht
- Responsible for inventory of all interior supplies to be approved by Captain
- Work with chef on serving breakfast, lunch hors d’oeuvres, dinner, cocktails, coffee, etc.
- Deep clean interior of yacht before and after owner/guests arrive
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly maintenance cleaning
- Check inventory of art and libraries after owner/guests arrive
- Notify captain immediately of any lightbulbs out or anything that is damaged
- Change barometer paper every Monday
- Responsible for hot tub town, suntan lotions and beach towels to be clean and available for owner/guests
- Always have owner linens, clothing, personal items, etc. out when other guests are not on board
- Follow the daily cleaning schedule while owner/guests are on board, i.e. staterooms, salon, salon head, aft deck, fly bridge, etc.
- Check bar and refrigerator stock at least once daily or more if required
- Prepare yacht before and after travel and changing sea conditions while in marina or on anchor
- Handle crystal, china, silverware with care with proper cleaning and storing
- Seek and pick-up local flowers within budget for owner/guests
- Be proficient in interior "entertainment" electronics for owner/guests
- Maintain/purchase accessories for dining table, bar area, etc.
- Enforce "shoes off" policy with owner/guests, contractors etc.
- Enforce "no smoking" aboard the yacht
- If a smoking guest is aboard, suggest somewhere they can smoke and keep three ash trays ash and odor free available
- Be a positive and courteous professional who adjusts accordingly to different guests needs and desires
- Suggest alternative and possible better ways to maintain and clean yacht
- Wash owner/guests laundry daily, iron pants/shirts when necessary and return to proper stateroom the following day
- Set an attractive an inviting table for a memorable dining experience
- Set interior lighting to match mood of owner/guests aboard the yacht
- Maintain flowers and plants
- Switch over between owner/charter guests, i.e. Master Stateroom linens, personal items, clothing, etc.
- Stock stationary in staterooms and salon desk
- Setup water and mint tray at turn down
- Take all price tags and store tags of all items before storing, i.e. liquor, soda, towels, etc.
